The Sandites started the scoring in the bottom of the first inning when their batter scored on a throwing error giving them a 1-0 lead. The Jags got a runner on base in every inning except one, but couldn't push any into score. The Jaguar defense held steady too and didn't allow any more runs through the next 4 innings. In the bottom of the 6th the Sandites scored 5 runs (3 earned) on two walks, 4 hits and two errors. In the top of the 7th the Jags were down 6-0. Sam Brownwood lead off with a single but was put out when John Tyree reached on a fielder's choice. Justin Leekley reached on a walk and then Josh Lay reached on an error to load the bases. Andrew Smith patiently drew a bases loaded RBI walk to give the Jags their first run of the game. Joe Sabatini hit a blooper into right field that couldn't be handled and brought in two more runs. Andrew Smith was caught in a pickle to record the final out.
