NOAH Football names Head Coach

NOAH Families,

Following Coach Blankenship’s resignation as NOAH Head High School Football Coach in mid February the NOAH Board in conjunction with Coach Blankenship as football AD began a search for the man to head up the Jaguars next chapter of success. The NOAH Board would like to first thank Coach Blankenship for the countless, tireless hours of study, preparation, prayer and coaching that he gave in launching the first NOAH football team. Coach Joe built the program over the past eight years from the ground up into the most competitive and successful Christian homeschool football program in the nation, consistently ranking number one in the country in various national polls. In stepping down as head coach he began a search for a replacement and many qualified candidates came forward locally and from across the country. After a six week search and selection process he recommended his top two candidates to the NOAH Board.

The NOAH Board interviewed both candidates and we are now excited to introduce to you the next head NOAH High School Football Coach……

Steve Gastelum (Coach G) has accepted the position of Head football Coach for the NOAH Jaguars going into the 2012 football season, effective immediately. The NOAH Board unanimously voted in Steve and support him with complete unity. Steve and his family are long time members of the NOAH organization. Steve had assisted Coach Blankenship in the creation and development of the first NOAH football team and has been a diligent student of the game ever since. Coach G has developed great relationships with players and parents alike and the Board is proud to have him lead into this next chapter of NOAH Football.

Please check the NOAH website http://www.noahjags.org/ and the football blog for upcoming football calendar announcements as Coach Gastelum releases information regarding the 2012 football season! BLEED BLUE!! GO JAGS!!
